  90s dance album by Germans that mixes in middle-eastern instrumentation. It's nice, nothing special.

  I'll hear a trance mix every-so-often that makes something click deep within. This is one.

  70s country. The banter at the start ("Did I say all that?") is hilarious, if you ask me.

  Two groups in heavy rotation for me right now. Ambient techno remix of a shoegaze album that contains next-to-no traces of the original.
• Rat Heart - Dancin' in The Streets

  Innovative new release that I'm not sure can be bound be genre -- blending of harsh experimental dance music with elements of cumbia and chanting.
• Townes Van Zandt - The Late Great Townes Van Zandt

  One of my favorite albums of all time. Perfect for the fall. Nobody gets me like this man does.

  I remember listening and not liking this when it first came out, but my tastes have changed. Collage of Venezuelan media intended as a reflection on the past of the country. There's a lot of cumbia fused with electronic music, which I think is one of the best sonic combinations out.
